How Come No One Told Me I Love Shnoz?

I was watching the SAGs the other night and we were talking about who we thought was attractive. Now I can't tell you for sure who I was talking about, but I can tell you this. Casey and Kelly are like, "They all have really big noses."

I had never noticed this, but it totally seems to be true. They were like, "Okay, so go through a few guys you think are hot."

So I named off a few, and they're like, "It's totally true, you like big noses." And Casey just said, "So basically you like Jewish guys."

(Which, don't get offended, Casey is also Jewish)

But why did no one tell me this before? I really didn't notice it until someone pointed it out, and then I started sensing a trend. Guys I'm drawn to tend to have bigger noses. Even one of my exes had a big nose!

To that guy, if he's reading, it wasn't meant to be rude. And it's not in an unattractive way, clearly it was working for me at the time. 

Now granted, it wasn't as big as these two man candies that I love (and Corinne has a thing for Adrien Brody too, that's not just me, people), but still, the trend was there. Good to know I guess?

It's Official: I'm an Apple Whore

It started when I got a Macbook Pro for my "beloved" Park School of Communications when I started my freshman year of college. I'm entering my senior year of university (yikes) and I'm still a big fan of my baby DiRegno.

I then got an iPod classic because my Dell DJ - which I adored and still really do like - couldn't sync with my school laptop. Which isn't really good, because I could only put new music on it and charge it when I was home on breaks every few months. I fell in love with that as well, and how easy it was to use.

And when that one started to fritz on me 3 years later - meaning I've restarted it like 30 times in the last 3 days - I decided to break down and buy myself a newer model. I needed something capable of holding 20 plus GB of music (thanks, BoGirls!) and some photos if I could swing it that way. I decided to go with the 32 GB iTouch - one that could shuffle just by shaking it, had WiFi, and could essentially do everything that an iPhone can do except make phone calls. I found one for $250 at Costco ($50 cheaper than it was at the Apple store) and have fallen in love with it.

Unfortunately, this pricey little toy came in the same week that I had to replace my cell phone. So it's a good thing I have two jobs this summer.

Swine Flu: We Had The Warning Signs!

So everyone and their brother (or my uncle, who actually has it) has been freaking out about the Swine Flu. To the point where kids here are about to make shirts that say "I Survived Swine '09." But people, we saw the signs and ignored them.

I mean, come on. We're on Season 6 of House now, and Amber died from flu-like symptoms way back in season 4.

Remember when she was on the bus sneezing and shit before she got thrown and all liver-damaged? Yeah. She had the flu. In New Jersey, at a college hospital where it can spread quick. You know what this means.

This Blog is Full of Spices

I have a confession to make: I have this weird fascination with Alan Rickman. Specifically, his voice.

Allie, KellyPaul and I have had long discussions about this - which usually end in a pretty terrible imitation of him that I do - and really, it's an issue. If Alan Rickman came through a drive through, would you answer the speaker? Especially if his voice came through there?

Like, if you heard Snape asking for a large fry and a Coke?

I wouldn't know if he was trying to seduce me or kill me with that drawl. Enjoyable either way, for sure, but nerve wracking.
